Hi, my name is Darren Lee Murphy and I’m a trained, professional actor. It all started at The Electric Youth Theatre in London, before moving to the Anna Scher Theatre School and then the Academy of Live & Recorded Arts where I gained formal acting accreditation. I see acting as a continual process of learning and acquiring new skills and continue to push myself by studying new acting techniques, such as Meisner at The Actors’ Temple and other short courses in vocal and film at the Actors’ Centre, London.

I have credits in Film, Television, Theatre and Commercials and I’m always on the look-out for interesting and challenging roles and productions. Since leaving drama school I’ve been involved in more than 40 professional projects.

Born and bred in London, I have the versatility to take on a wide variety of roles, and I believe I bring personality, charisma and individualism to my characters.

I also write: as well as my own projects, I am working with two very talented writers, on two feature films that have already gained industry interest.
